Save Barnegat Bay

Save Barnegat Bay‘s mission is to restore and protect Barnegat Bay and it’s ecosystem. We advance our mission by being a strong and independent voice for the Bay throughout the watershed, including all of Ocean and parts of Monmouth County. We do this through effective educational programs and targeted advocacy campaigns that engage over 1,500 Save Barnegat Bay members who cherish the Bay as a natural, recreational, and economical resource for the community and all of New Jersey.

Save Barnegat Bay programs and serve citizens and institutions throughout the Barnegat Bay watershed. We seek to educate and engage all residents, but place a special emphasis on serving local and state decision-makers and homeowners by providing them with science-based information and examples of environmental best practices.

Environment New Jersey

Environment New Jersey is a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization. We believe there’s something special about New Jersey — something worth protecting and preserving for future generations. Whether its relaxing at Cape May, playing Frisbee at Great Swamp, or hiking through our northern mountains, New Jerseys natural wonders enrich our lives in countless ways. Yet the places we love and the environmental values so many of us share are too often threatened by powerful industries, shortsighted politicians and more. Defending our environment requires independent research, tough-minded advocacy and spirited grassroots action.

That’s the idea behind Environment New Jersey. Together with thousands of supporters from all walks of life, we take the kind of action that wins tangible results for our environment.
